youd have to make up your own set up... and its really not worth it... they dont do that much. youd be much better off with a co2 i/c set up or n2o on the I/C

I can think of better ways to use n2o.

just a fyi-
The reason Subaru did not put on the IC water spray for 08 is because the IC is about 45% larger and more efficient than the older design. Also, Subaru thought that not many people used it very much.
How do I know? At A subaru National training event in FL, I asked why they got rid of it for 08.

I never ever use my windshield washers so I was pondering turning one of the pumps into a cheap intercooler spray array (probably using patio misters) for autocrossing/track days. I'm new to the whole thing but when I went all the subaru owners were spraying their intercoolers between runs... and not just with the stock deal they have, but with a pump up misting sprayer wand thing.

you guys think this would be a pointless endevour or marginally useful if I enjoy DIY?

Definatly usefull. Some water is better than none. If you can why not, is my perspective.

I had an 05 and an 06 STi before my 08 and the IC spray on both of them didn't seem to do much for the heat soak. My 08 doesn't seem to heat soak near as much as they did either. If I were you, I would save your windshield washer resevoir for meth injection.
