I got lucky and when I went to buy an AP from Perrin they have a limited deal where they throw in their 180 dollar Stage 2 map in for free.. I've got it all loaded up on the AP but, don't have my TBE yet.. it sucks waiting haha.

After almost a year with my stock STI, the wait is over (ECU story too long and boring for this thread). I just ordered my AP from Perrin, with their DP and CAI, I also have an HKS Legamax Premium Exhaust on the way (+ centerpipe). Chris (from Perrin) told me that he is going to preload a specific Stage 2 Map for their CAI, but, that means that if I install that CAI, that is the only map I am going to be able to use, right?
Another question I have, I live in Juarez, Mexico (5,500ft), but Ruidoso, New Mexico (peak 12,000ft), is only a short drive away, a drive I take two or three times a year (very nice twisties). if I use the CAI and cannot change maps, what can I do.

Manuel, you could have asked me! Yes since you're going to have our CAI, you can only run with our PERRIN map for the intake. You can't run with a OTS COBB map because it may make your car run lean.

You can use the normal map at that elevation, it will just boost a little less than when you're at sea level.

I know Chris, but since we have had our hands full with the payment, I did not wanted to bother you anymore. BTW guys, Perrin Performance has been awesome, not only do they have the best AP deal, they have the best tech/sales person in Chris, he has gone out of his way to help this newbie, he will even preload the AP for me (Not wanted to go off topic, just wanted to give credit where credit is due).

just got the stage one accessport from perrin today at their shop here in portland. super happy with help chris gave me explaining the product and of course the performance!!! the car feels strong finally!
