Default Prodrive GC010G

Hi guys,

I'm looking at the Prodrive GC010G in the following sizes:

18x9" ET39
18x9.5" ET44

The ET44 has a deeper face and I've been told this won't clear brembos without spacers, can anyone tell me how much spacing I'll need or give more info and also what max tire width I can run without rubbing?

Be really interested to know if anyone got any experience with the 9" ET39s, these might be a nicer fit?

These are to fit stock suspension and camber, and I don't want to be rolling the fenders.

Cheers.

Stu

MAX TIRE SIZE THAT YOU CAN FIT WITH OUT MAJOR WORK (other then rolling fenders in the back)

27" tall, and about 11.75" wide(but can go wider if you get a staggered offset front and back rims). The 27" tall tire is filling in to much of the front fender(front to back) so thats what causing majority of the fitment issue.
From what I can can tell a 295/30 will fit its just that the tire has to be under 26.5" tall to fit(or smaller).

Hope this helps you guys out. Just remember to get a proper offset rim.

I am looking at running Enkeis RPF-1 in a 17" rim. How wide of a rim do you think I could go with? I will run rt615's for now, but will run slicks down the road for auto X. I am thinking the 17x9.5 will work, but I really want to get the widest rim I can under there. I dont mind rolling the fenders. I saw a chrome black coating that I thought would look good on my dgm STI.

mofoSTI - I'm also going to run 17's on my car. Ordering Advan RS's...just trying to figure out between the 17x9 or 17x9.5 and assuming the 9.5 won't work with the GTR face. 17's should also though give us a tad bit more room to play with on the height if we choose the correct tires, but mostly I just want less mass and the car will sit lower as well.

9.5 with a 275 should be fine. There is the white one with VOLK RE30's.. IIRC he has a member journal on here and said he could've probably fit a 285 even.
Also perrins car is on page 2 or 3 I believe, he is running 18x9.5 +44 with a 275/35/18. I don't know how BF's run in sizing though. I know Dunlop's run big for their sizing, esp in Z1 star spec, same with Yoko. Bridgestone Potenza tends to be average/small for their sizing scale.

If people are saying that it will be hard for me to fit a 18X9 with a 35 offset... How does Spaceman fit his with a 29 Offset...??? Please explain

I am getting 17x9 Advan RS, GTR face +29...it will probably take some work. Spaceman's wheels fit, and they also don't fit. Under severe compression the tires will probably clip the fenders a tad from the look of the pictures. From a street perspective it looks fine for driving around town and they are on the car and working, but not ideal. He has noted this in his thread and is planning on lowering and camber from the sounds of things.

I think with camber, coil overs, etc. some rolling you can fit them for sure. And it's entirely up to the tires as well. I am going with a proper 255/40/17 for my wheels...and I don't know if they will fit or not but willing to try them out with the KW3 coilovers. Will post results in 2-3 weeks when they all get fitted.

It fits ONTO the car, but right now it doesn't fit in a fully driveable manner... but he's willing to put in the time and money to make it work.
-Fender rolling
-Coilovers with camber plates.
-can NOT run maximum width tires
I recommended the 45 offset to you, MattieP based on it seems you are new to the tuning world and this would be a direct bolt-on affair with no issues at all.
You are talking about investing at least another $1800 to get that agressive look.
I've had a couple good convos with Spaceman, since he and I will be running almost identical setups. 18x9 +29 RS with coilovers.
My wheels come next week along with my JIC FLT-TAR's as well, so both of us will have more info shortly.

I'm wanting to pick up some Enkei RC-T4s (18X18.5 48 offset).

ENKEI SPORT RC-T4 for TARMAC

Does anyone know if these will clear the 08 Brembos and are the 08 Brembos larger than previous years?

Thanks

Thought I'd post these here as well...

-Advan RS 18x9 +29 with Falken Azenis RT-615's 245/40/18
-Fender roll in rear and dropped on coilovers
