Does the ECU store data, stating the ecu has be reflashed? does it record how many times it has been reflashed?
What the AP will do is take the stock map and upload it into the Hand Held AP. It will then load the Cobb map into the ECU. So if you ever want to put your stock map on, all you will need to do is just plug in the AP and hit reflash

The biggest question is, "WHEN CAN WE BUY ONE?"
As of right now the Maps are still under development. It will only be a short while until the maps are out.
You can buy the AP part number AP-SUB-003, however it WILL NOT HAVE THE STi maps on there.
The thing is that the maps need to be 100% done, before they are on the market. As of right now they are still testing the maps to make sure they are dead on.

One thing is that, the new cars MUST run a catted down pipe with a STOCK air intake system (even the air filter). As a catless down pipe will make the car run leaner, intake will lean it out even more. So a combination of the 2 will run to car so lean that it might cause engine damage. And this is something that Cobb is working out, to try and help out the consumers.

For instance, I first put on a Catless Down pipe. The map was set for XX.XX boost. However I overboosted by 4psi do to a catless down pipe!!! So i had to test out several different pills to get it into the target boost again.
These are just some of the reasons why the maps are not out yet. As they still need some refining.

Another thing to add. My gas economy went up a couple MPG as well, performance and economy!

And a little teaser....There is about 4-6PSI boost difference between the "I" mode, and the S# mode.

Understood about the need for a reliable, non-destructive map (set). It's not nice to tease us like this though.

Is it able to program all three different SI-Drive settings with different maps?

Have cobb released maps for 08 as well? I cant find them on the home page.

I live in AZ with 91oct . Would like to know results from stg1 and stg2 with 91oct. (Is cobb stg2 only DP+AP?)

As stated above, Do these reflash all three SI settings? or does it only flash what setting you have it set too? AP making on the fly flashing even easier by providing 3 different maps for SI per flash...Oh My Lord.

In a way yes.
The I mode is still as smooth as stock, boost will go up to .7bar smoothly.
S mode it will run a couple more PSI, and is a little more aggressive.
S# is where the fun is . Boost will hit hard, and come on fast. The car comes alive and throws you into the seat.

As for maps, they have Stg1, Stg2: for 91, 91AZ/cali, and 93.

YOU HAVE TO RUN THE STOCK INTAKE SYSTEM WITH THE STOCK AIR FILTER!
CATTED DOWN PIPE IS A MUST! AS THE CAR WILL HIT 22PSI if its catless

They are up on our site.

So the SI drive settings are seperate from the mapped setting the AP loads? In other words the single MAP change affects all three settings becasue the SI-drive changes a different set of parameters?
