| Junior STI Driver | looks like they come stock with 9005, so 9011 HIR should fit nicely. 9005 HB3 = 1700 lumens @ 3250K life 225hrs 9011 HIR = 2500 lumens @ 3600K life 300hrs Remember to get Toshiba ones... Also these dont pull any more amps and run at the same 65W. more info at HIR Headlights 9011 9012 bulbs Ive personally had these in my Integra, and i must say the output is much better than stock 9005. | Junior STI Driver | Its like the first time you drive with HID's... Once you try HIR in the highbeams, you will never want to go back to stock 9005 halogen. Its like night and day difference in the dark. |

IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2003 Trader Rating: (0) | I'm about to order a set of these and just want to confirm that this is the correct item: Hella 9005/HB3 Replacement and Upgrade Bulbs (at the bottom of the page) CP9011 9011-HIR1 Bulb, 12V, 65W, Toshiba, each They noted on their site that you need to make a small modification to the 9011 to fit 9005. Anyone have info on this modification (i.e. what I need to remove)? Thanks. Edit: For future reference, the mod required is listed here: HIR Bulb into 9005 (high beam) retrofit - ScoobyMods Last edited by Digitalfiend; 06-24-2008 at 09:47 PM. |

IWSTI Addict since: Jan 2008 Trader Rating: (1) | How do the Hella compare to the Philips Vision Plus? They're all halogen bulbs. As long as they aren't some dinked-up, blue-tinted, HID wanna-be (and not absurdly overpriced like the PIAA super whites) then there should be at least the UK Oshram's, the Philips and the Hella (good company, I simply am not personally familiar with their replacement bulb offerings). Most OEM halogens are weak and yellowish. Found this useful Automotive Lighting FAQ - Recent updates Last edited by Bownse; 06-26-2008 at 07:18 PM. |
