I posted a link to an article by a guy from Garrett Turbos and this engineer laid out the info quite well. The gist is that the divorced wastegate setup allows exhaust gases to exit more cleanly (i.e. more efficiently) and this can help reduce boost creep. That's not to say bellmouths are crap and at least the Invida downpipe has a splitter. I was just pointing out that their product really isn't what most people would consider as "divorced". |
