Default RCE Camber plates installed with Track setting

I just had my RCE lowering camber plates installed. My street settings are:
Front: -2.0, 0 toe
Rear: -1.5(left), -1.7(right), 0 toe

The increased front end bite is very apparent. Even when I take a corner at a bad angle, the car still feels balanced.

My alignment guy also gave me a setting that I can switch to at the track that would give me 1/8" toe out. He said my car would feel like night and day with the toe out. Does anyone have any experience with toe out settings at the track? What can I expect with 1/8" toe out? My next track day will be next week.

Pretty quick turn in., The car will be more darty under braking, and will have a tendancy to move around a bit even in a straight line.

Will it improve the front end grip? I was told by a very knowledgeable person that this toe out is awesome. I wonder if I should have just gotten more neg camber for my street setting and never change it?

i run 1/8th toe out front for autox; 0 toe all around for track. more camber with toe out will increase tire wear esp on the inside shoulders of the tires. i think you will be very happy with it the way it is currently set up on the track.

what tires, pressures do you plan on running at the track?

i'm not sure if it will increase front end grip but dan got it right. Much better turn in, but under braking the car is going to want to wander a bit. It shouldn't be too big of a deal braking and the trade off is almost always worth it (when working with these relatively small amount of toe).

Will this be your first track day?

This will be my second track day. I am running the stock Evo tires right now at 37 psi up front and 33 rear.
Should I go 0 toe at the track? I guess I just see for myself. If I don't like it I will just dial in more negative camber with 0 toe and leave it like that.

I'm not sure if you know, but when you change your camber you change your toe.

ditto. I've been running my autocross settings for the last week with the street tires. The car is obviously more darty with the toe-out, but nothing the driver can't handle.

yeah. thats actually the idea for my track setting. I want 1/8" toe out for the track. On the street, i have 0 toe. I was just wondering what ppl's experiences were with toe out at the track. My alignment guy says toe out at the track is the best thing since sliced bread.

Order the Whitelines. I need to delete that. They were looking into it, but between the Yellows, Blacks, and WRX springs, they've got other things to worry about for the time being.

gotchya, and your alignment guy is right. Toe out on the track helps a lot.
