All coilovers lower the car.

I can't speak too much on the Megans for street use, but you can find several reviews of them in this thread on NASIOC:
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...ighlight=megan

The superior coilover of the Megan and $1k coilover crowd are the BC Racing BR series. You can find information on them here:
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1085379

and posts here:
BC Sports BR Coilovers - Uninstalled pics, Installed Pics, and Review

and my thread here:
Pics of the BC Racing BR series non-inverted coilovers

These also have good droop travel for a Taiwanese coilover, comparable to the Bilstein PSS-9's.

You can buy them brand new from Josh at Import Image or theres a set for sale here:

FS: (MA) - Bc Racing Coilovers

Any other questions, feel free to ask away. I've been running them for almost 3k miles now without problems and with one 1st place trophy gained.

Scooby South here in Jacksonville has been doing well with Megans for the last couple of years. Work fine for the street and the autox. The BC's are apparently an upgrade and I drove with them on a friend's RS a couple months ago on a twisty mountain road and they worked great.

I had Megans on my 06 WRX for a year before I sold the car. The handling was great, adjustability was great, and the ride was good (if you adjusted it). I did alot of high speed driving during that time and the car was very stable. I will probably be putting these on my 04 STI again. That's my opinion after a year with them.

i don't know much about about the megans and the bc stuff, but apparently the bc's have better internals than the megans (along with some other stuff i don't remember). It sounds like the BC's would be the way to go.

Megan Racing coilovers sell very well for us. We can hardly keep them in stock. I get nothing but great reviews back from customers!

yup. they have a larger internal piston diameter, improved valving, and fixed cup locking rings compared to the megans.
