| Junior STI Driver | I am installing my JDM pinks this week, and after reading on here am going to cut my bumpstops. I have done this a few times on cars I've had in the past and had great results, including my 03 WRX. After searching on here I found this: http://wrx.dicknogs.net/techdocs/prodrive_bumpstop.pdf do I have to disasemble the struts to get to the bumpstops? This ad is not endorsed by this member. You will find the bumpstop inside. imo get the prodrive bumpstops. i've cut the bump stops and since put on prodrive bumpstops. there is considerably less jounce with the prodrives because when you cut the stock bumpstops, you remove some of the progression. |

All you need to do next, is yank the bumpstop off the shaft. It will seem like it is too tight to get off... but it will. I had my buddy hold the strut while I pulled on the stop, and it came right off. |

| Junior STI Driver | I will follow these instructions, just have never had to get to a bump stop like that before (that's why I love this site). Would you suggest trimming front and rear? Thanks again for the replies. Also do you have a link to the prodrive bumpstops? |

IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2006 Trader Rating: (0) | Hey quick question- How many bumpstops come with the new v2 yellows? I only got 2 is the correct??? Called Andrew @ RCE - apparently they come with 2 bumpstops for the front. I am fine using the Prodrives in the rear. Last edited by TheHammer; 08-16-2007 at 02:33 PM. |

The front, however, is usually riding on the bumpstops.my rce yellow replacements came with 2 bumpstops (for the front) and the original set came with none. rallysport direct carries the prodrive bumpstops: http://www.rallysportdirect.com/shop...ps-p-2478.html This ad is not endorsed by this member.
