| Spec C Club | jman, It's like that for one side, although I'm not using the washers anymore. I'll try to post pics soon. ![]() ![]() As you can see I'm not using any washers at all now. Last edited by DragonXero13; 08-16-2007 at 02:59 PM. |

IWSTI Addict since: Feb 2004 Trader Rating: (6) | with the new bars--you don't need the washers because i am not using them on mine but i don't know what to tell you because your drivers side looks good but the passenger doesn't (which is the side you are having problems with) did you try to rotate the bar any?? looks like you are a little forward (maybe just the pics) the endlinks should be straight up and down vertically did it settle or move at all when the bar is loaded with the cars weight??--when the car is on the ground not on jack stands |

| Professional STI Driver | You need to get the spacers for the KB endlinks. They should look like the pics that jmanrex posted, spacers, washers, etc... I am having less and less faith in the KB endlinks(at least with the whiteline bars). This is the second post(this week) where the bar was hitting the tie-rod using whiteline bars and KB links. I have no problems with my whiteline bars and endlinks. Ah, just saw that you are working on these with the wheels in the air. Not the right way to do it. Put it on the ground or some ramps and then get everything set up correctly. When they are in the air, the geometry gets all ****ed up and things dont line up right. |

| Spec C Club | The problem is on the left side, passenger side. I did wiggle it and all that crap. Please do keep in mind that my sway bars were already installed and I'm just adjusting the endlinks and what not. I don't know if that requires me working on them with ramps or not but just putting it out there. |

| Spec C Club | Well, I can adjust it really easily. I can make it hit the sways hit the tie rods and all that after the endlinks are loose and I just twist them. That's how I was able to go from 27-29mm. |

IWSTI Addict since: Feb 2004 Trader Rating: (6) | if you have ramps--put the ramps under the tires and lower the car onto them to preload the bar--this will show you if your bar or endlinks are messed up you should always change the endlinks and/or bar with the suspension preloaded--meaning the cars weight on them |

| Spec C Club | Unfortunately, I don't have ramps. Maybe, I'll just lower the car on the tires and than turn the wheels and see if the bar is hitting the tie rod. If it's not, would you guys give the A+ that everything is fine as it is? |

| Spec C Club | Well it seems as if the passenger sway is no longer hitting the endlink. Although, the endlink is not straight vertically. I could add washers, but is it okay to add washers only on one side? Edit- Nevermind, after looking at it a bit closer and running some thin paper between the sway and tie rod, it's still hitting. Maybe I should get new endlinks? Last edited by DragonXero13; 08-16-2007 at 04:46 PM. |

IWSTI Addict since: Feb 2004 Trader Rating: (6) | try to flip your bar around--take it off and do a 180 with it--put the passenger side on the driver side and vise versa when you are underneath the car can you read the whiteline sticker/stamp in the middle of bar or is it upside down |

| Professional STI Driver | Can you measure the lengths of the endlinks F&R? I would measure my whiteline endlinks, but I wont be home for 3 days(can anybody else measure theirs). I would like to know if there is a length difference between them. It just kinda seems that alot of people are having problems with this particular combination of the big WL bars and the KB endlinks. I would go ahead and put the spacers and washers back on as per the pic that was posted a few posts ago. Put them back on both sides. Do it while the suspension is loaded. See how that makes them sit and if they hit after doing all of that. Go buy some ramps, there about 30 bucks at autozone and were maybe the best investment I ever made. Makes oil changes a breeze. |
