IWSTI Addict since: Feb 2007 Trader Rating: (13) | Anyone know what front strut tower brace fits with an APS TMIC... I am going to coilovers and want to get a front tower brace. I do not want to order something and not have it fit. Joe This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

IWSTI Addict since: Jan 2005 Trader Rating: (9) | A few people have used some spacers between the strut threads and the strut bar to get various bars to fit with large TMICs. I forget who but someone on her did that to get the JDM Titanium strut bar to clear the Spearco TMIC. I think someone else did the same thing to get the Cusco bar to clear an APS TMIC. |

IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2006 Trader Rating: (2) | My last suspension mod was a front strut tower bar and my car was transformed. I am not sure what it would do with the stock springs and sway bars but for my setup the car benefitted drastically. I would say this mod is a must when other suspension parts have been added that add extra stiffness to the car. The chassis seems creak and crack the more things that are added but the strut tower tightens everything back together. Remember to install the the srtut tower bar when the car is jacked up and the tires are fully suspended so the bar keeps the chassis at it's tightest position. This ad is not endorsed by this member.
