Default My Alignment Specs: For Review, Comments, Opinions & Suggestions



The car is primarily for weekend fun, specifically autox with some light street duty. I'll be able to comment better on this setup after the autox this friday, Aug 3rd.

-Whiteline Steering Rack Bushings
-Whiteline 27-29mm Adjustable Front Sway Bar
-JDM Pink Springs
-Cusco Front Camber Plates
-Cusco 22-24mm Adjustable Rear Sway Bar
-Hotchkis Rear Adjustable Endlinks
-Hotchkis Front Adjustable Endlinks
-17"x7.5" USDM STi Silver BBS with 245/45/17 Falken Azenis RT-615 (For SCCA)
-17"x8" Graphite Rota Torque with 255/40/17 Kumho V700 Victoracer R-Comps (For all other Autox Orgs)

Looks good. I have one suggestion for your next alignment:

Run less everyday camber (~-1.75 to -2°) and then add a degree for auto-x days. 3° is good for auto-x, but a bit much for the street. The added toe (from adding negative camber) will help turn in, also.

Genius. I wish I tought about that before I did the alignment. If I go to my camber plates and back them off from full negative to "0" or the neutral setting, will that create toe in? If so, thats probably worse for tire wear than the current settings, right?

Adding camber (adding +) should add positive toe. Reducing (adding -) should add negative toe.

That is how it worked on my PDE plates in the caster/camber setup.

I always thought you were running the cusco coilovers. Guess the plates threw me off.
