I dont mind not having the car for a few days if they fix it. plus like i said i know the mechs so im not worried about it. as long as it gets fixed.

Are there any things that you guys would reccomend me taking off if I go to the dealer looking for clunk solutions? IE, Sways, Springs, etc...

Yea I don’t know why the dealer would be so anal about sways or springs. I couldn’t imagine that would void your warranty. I mean I can understand a new turbo or something but sway bars?<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>

25K my struts started to clunk as well...

Im at 30K now and its progressively getting worse... i already talked to my dealer and they didnt want to replace... Im going to raise hell to get both of them replaced before 36K

just got back from the dealer and am getting 2 new rear struts next week!

Depends on the coilover. Go with a crappy coilover, and it will/can ride like crap. Get a nice set of coilovers, and it will both handle better and be better for DD. Do some reading/searching on this forum and you will find a ton of information about it. I know a lot of guys with the RCE coilovers are very happy with ride quality, especially if you choose their DD setup.

If you were to go with the lube option and lube up the inner seal, do you have to disassemble the struts by taking off the top hat and springs to reach it, or can you just do it by taking off the nut on the bottom and pulling it out. I'm looking at pictures and such and I cannot see a way to grease the inner seals without taking springs and top hat off. Someone shed some light please. Thanks.
