IWSTI Addict since: Jan 2006 Trader Rating: (0) | I'd like to know what people are setting their suspension settings at? I'm talking things like ride height, camber, caster, toe, rebound, compression, swaybar, etc... (and anything I'm forgetting). I know that 'it depends on what kind of suspension you have'... so tell me what suspension you are running? The only setting I've messed with right now is -2.5 camber in the front, -1.5 in the rear, and 0 toe for my BSP class STi. This ad is not endorsed by this member. IWSTI Addict since: Jul 2004 Trader Rating: (4) | well, i don't run auto-x (might start though) but when i do my setup will be 05 STi Ohlins Sportline Coilovers F: -2.6 deg camber, 1/16 toe out, Whiteline 26mm sway (would probably set it to 24mm), 6 clicks from full hard bump R: -2.2 deg camber, 0 toe, 22mm Whiteline rear sway 8 clicks from full hard bump Stock wheels and tires, the coilovers will probably put me in some insane class but whatever. IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2006 Trader Rating: (2) | A-stock STi Brakes: carbotech ax6 pads front and rear, no ABS, still my original rotors (car is only really driven to/from autox and track) front: max camber from the stock adjusters (*maybe* 1 degree and change ) 3/32 total toe outrear: 1/16 total toe out (sometimes more) No camber adjustment 275mm V710's on a second set of stock wheels, 5mm spacer in the rear. ARP studs all around with open lugs G-force 4 pt harness clipped into G-force eye bolts on the bottom and the child seat anchors for the top (for people that worry about the fifth point and keeping the lap belt on your pelvis, try pumping down the seat, buckling in, getting it snug, then pumping it back up, it's nice, and really quick to get in and out because you don't have to re-tighten the harness every time, just pump the seat! )Stuff I fabbed: Custom 29+mm front sway, and heim joint endlinks, poly bushings in stock brackets HKS muffler and resonator-less full mandrel bent 3" catback (I just bought the muffler and did the piping) Tons of cone marks ocassionally brilliant, occasionally crap-tastic driver :P The car is an autox beast. I think it's awesome that you can run down a super stock vette's raw time on alot of courses where they can't use all the power! |
