Default Best Springs? Help!

Hey everyone, I have 04 WRX and I am looking for the best spring for the $ and I have heard great things about the Cobb spring, but the Tein is cheaper on Gruppe-s.com. So I am not sure if going the distance is worth the money for a 17 year old kid who auto-x's his car and the rare track event at VIR. So far my car has a set of brakes (pads and rotors) and turboback exhaust coming soon in July and the Cobb AP.

On anthor note is sold my HKS SSQV for 100 bucks to a kid who has a 93 RX-7, do you guys think that was a good price or do I need to ask for more $?

Thanks alot guys.

You've already sold the springs, so who cares?

And regarding your other questions, this is an STI forum. You may have better results on Nasioc. Just wear protection!

I'm confused. Is your car a WRX or an STi?

^ yea me to... It says he has an STi... and why would you steer him away from this forum. Anyone is welcome as long as your well manored and polite. And you learn how to search.

But, if you're looking for the best spring for the money. I say be patient and search the classifieds for a couple of weeks on iwsti and nasioc. You wanna keep an eye out for RCE yellows or Tanabe GF210's or JDM pinks, etc. These are springs that are priced fairly well new and will give you more savings if they are used. They have tons of reviews that you can find with a simple search and you can decide for yourself which one suits you best. and As the saying goes Springs will always be springs. you really cant ruin a spring unless you try. or it rusts. but chances are you wont have that problem. and there are always people selling used springs or parting out their car. someone elses loss is your gain. just be patient. I was patient and it paid off... I just installed my used RCE yellows that changed hands twice already and were on three different cars. AND I LOVE'EM! good luck. and while you wait for an opportunity in the Classifieds, just keep searching for reviews on all different springs and pricing. theres a ton of good stuff on this site and tons of good people who are willing to help...
