IWSTI Addict since: May 2003 Trader Rating: (7) | Yes it is easy, but....I did end up having a 'clunking' in the rear suspension somewhere after running my Cusco adjustable rear sway on the middle stiffness setting. Went back to stock, clunking gone! There was no visible interference, might have been inside the struts for some reason. Just take note before and after... |

| STI Driver | rear was easy. didn't even jack up the car (left the suspension loaded). maybe 15 minutes total. front; I couldn't do myself. I didn't have the proper tools and I could not get the bracket off on the passenger side, cross member was in the way of one of the nuts. major pain in the ass (for me). 2 hours on your RS? well, this install is basically identical to the RS's install, but it shouldn't take you more than 15 minutes or so. no glitches, piece of cake. You may want to research some of the issues people are having though (if you haven't yet): http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/sho...threadid=512862 |

something I couldn't do laying on the floor of my parking garage with my 3/8" socket set! course, I didn't figure this out until after I had one of the bolts free... then I spent a good amount of time just trying to put it back together stock, no luck, I missed the autoX the next day because half of the sway bar was swingin loose no fun..

| Junior STI Driver | So, if you have to leave the suspension loaded, what is the easiest way to get under the car? It is lowered, and I know there is no way to get under there without getting it up off the ground somehow. Is there some ramps you can get somewhere? |

I have the ones with the extension so lowered cars can actually drive on. With the rears, i usually just jack the rear end up and slide the ramps underneath. Shot from my WRX: This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad.
