| Junior STI Driver | I am going to get a pair of 24mm front rear sways very soon ( as soon as Andrew @ race comp ships them) And way wondering what is the best setting to have the on with stock suspension with -2 camber front -1.3 camber rear. I was thinking to set both at full stiff then reduce front if understeering or reduce rear is oversteering. This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

| Spiteful Old Codger | What it actually, actually, actually depends on is grip. Think of it like this: Case #1, your car has tires made of wood. You do a run. There ain't much grip. Case #2, your car has slicks. There is allofasudden a ****load of grip. Relative to your bar settings, the important thing is that the *relationship* between front and rear is changing along with the overall grip level. The F/R relationship for a well-prepped STU car is going to be different than for a well-prepped AS car (as if there were such a thing)... and different from a well-prepped BSP or SM car. On STU-ish tires and OE springs, you may be able to find something acceptable with a pair of 24mm bars, although you'd be much better off with more spring. On race tires, forget about it. In AS, you will want much more FSB, and probably a little less RSB. In BSP you'll want something more like 24mm in front, but then no bar in back... and something on the order of #850/#550 springs. |
