Default Pink spring wont fit Spec C?

Guys,
I've been looking to purchase STI pink spring for my MY05 STI Spec C (GDBE4FH) but japanparts.com states that it wont fit my car, why is this?

Check part number 1005G-018-011 and 1005G-018-012, it states "Price is for Each /Height 20mm lower, normal shape, K=45(4.6Kgf/mm) Won't fit spec C.
recommended to parallel use Rear(1005G-018-012) For MY03-"

This one however, did not mention anything about spec c but will it fit? Check number 1007G-020-S03 and 1007G-020-S04 it states "Price is for Each /Height 15mm lower, normal shape, K=60(6.1Kgf/mm) recommended to parallel use STI inverted Strut. *Shown Strut sell separately. *same as JDM Limited model: S203/204 Type RA / RA-R equipement."

Here's the link to the site http://www.japanparts.com/db/partsli...aker=4&volkey=

Hope y'all can guide me.

Thanks.

Here's a link to the Spec C type RA-R, the Spec C model is immediately noticeable for having the roof vent

http://www.japanvehicles.com/newcars..._RA-R/main.htm

So, you own a Spec C Impreza; and want springs to fit?????

You realise that Pink Springs are Stock on your Unit?

Understood, you're car is wearing Aftermarket coilovers

OK, the Spec C ( all Spec C's are "warmed over" by STi ) would have had Pink struts/Pink springs out of the Factory

I have no way of knowing if the Spec C STi Pink springs will fit your current coilover setup

If you want to retrofit the original Pink strut/Pink Spring setup your Unit was built with, that can be quoted for , and supplied

STi *don't make* an upgrade to the Spec C Pink springs/struts your Unit was built with, but replacements can be supplied

Spec C's have many unique parts, and a different Wheelbase to other grades of STi Imprezas

It's not that Pink Springs won't fit your SPEC C; and everything to do with getting *exactly the right* Pink spring to suit your Unit, as Spec C's are Not the same as "Regular" STi's

Roger that.
Can you quote me the price to my email? its mfadzal@electro-vest.com
I need to get one for my GDE4FH, japan parts should be able to know which one fits my Spec C from that number. I just need the pink springs not the coilovers. Coilovers are stock in black colour. Let me know if you need more info.

Thanks.

*Not Quite*

GDE4FH is a generic Subaru Model Code for all their Spec C's; this doesn't show what's a Limited Model or any subtle changes that may have occurred to the specification during manufacture

ie: You will also have to advise me your *Chassis number*, I'll run this, and the Model Code through the database here and let you know the Parts cost and availability, that will match the Part to your exact car

Will look something like: "GDB-0012345"

Where are you in Malaysia? Port Kelang? Sabah? Other?

PM me and let me know

Best

GW
