I vote for either stop being anal, or trade it in on a new one. Trying to get it fixed is going to be a painful process, IMO too much effort for too little reward.

Warn the ins company that you are unhappy with the repair and you will pursue fixing it completely and at their expense. They may be able to use aftermarket or used parts based on the policy but they still have to fix it correctly.

Is this your ins or the other person's? If it's yours, you only have rites as explained in your policy. If it's the other guy's, then the sky is the limit to get your car fixed correctly.

it should be repaired to the state it was in prior to the accident right?... so was your car slanted prior to the accident... dont think so, get it fixed, if it gets at you now it wont stop getting at you later

ggahahah no...
i cant switch shops tho from what the insurance company said.
list of things wrong:
1. Overspray on rear bumper
2. Overspray on front bumper
3. Trunk isnt lined up
4. Slanted
5. Bent Towhitch
6. scratches on sideskirt and some other places from when they were working on it.
7. trunk covering on the sides is all messed up

My car was probably in the shop for a good 3weeks before any work was done. took about 6 weeks to finish it and me going down there everyday and making sure he was working on it. Everybody said he does good work but that wasnt the case for me. i can go on a rant for an hour about how much of a pain it was to fix some small damage. i just didnt want to deal with him anymore and havent gone back yet. but i think i will soon. im just worried that he might mess my car up even more...

I would tell the insurance company to either get it fixed right, or to buy it. IDK how it is in CA, but in WA if I say use OEM parts they HAVE TO USE oem parts. Its the law. YMMV

i just jacked up my car and ive been looking at it for awhile. i found out that i have a few plugs missing as well so that would probably explain why my bumper seem really flimsy.

never take your car to Specialized Coachworks

about 2 weeks ago my friend took his dads car in there and it came back looking like crap along with a broken speedometer. the needle was hanging far below the zero

our cars do have a slant but usually in the opposite direction. I think yours is a little drastic though.
