Default Whiteline BIG bars with Kartboy Endlinks installed - 2006 STi

UPDATE: Front spacers installed, post #8

Getting pretty heavily involved in AX lately and I've heard so much about sway bars so I dropped some coin into WL 29mm front / 24mm rear adjustable bars with KB endlinks (got a great deal from GST Motorsports!).

Install on the front was a much bigger PITA than expected, and at first I even installed it upside down (over the tie rod instead of under). Rear went so smooth it felt like I was forgetting something. I used COBB's install guide (most in-depth one I could find), but it was for an 04 and for the rear it said to remove the charcoal canister, but on my car it wasn't in the way whatsoever. So it just basically fell out, new one popped right in.

I haven't had a chance to push it through any corners to see a difference, but my next event is next weekend so I'll report back then.

Now do these endlinks look right? I keep second guessing myself on the install...

Right front, suspension loaded

Right front unloaded

Left front loaded

Thanks!

Read this thread: For those of you who have the Whiteline 29mm FSB...**Another update!** pages 3 and 4. In some of the pics you have the spacers but not in others...not sure why?

The kit I purchased did not come with any spacers, just washers. 8 washers for the front, 8 for the rear, and I used all of them. I used the washers on the very ends just inside of the bolt head and just before the nut.

Am I reading this correctly? With this endlink/SB combo I need to email Tom and get additional spacers??

Thanks

Marcus,
Recommended that you get the endlink spacers, if you do not have them.

Okay I emailed Tom to get some spacers. Now until I receive them am I going to do any damage to the endlink or control arm? Or should I go out to Lowe's and pick up some temporary spacers to hold me over until I receive the aluminum ones from Tom?

If I were so inclined, what size spacers should I get? I read in another thread the KB ones are 1/4", but 3/16" would have fit a tad better...

Received an email from Tom already, he's sending me my spacers, ETA Tuesday 5/22. Buuuuuuutt I'm impatient and can't wait, so I went to Lowe's and grabbed some washers to make a temporary spacer just under 1/4", here's the updated look.

Looks much better. Thanks Tom and IWSTI!!
