| Senior STI Driver | Hey guys, Where is everyone getting Tannabe springs ? Any sources up here in Canada? What is the "street" price ? I was also considering the Eibachs, but they seem to be having "issues" with them. Anyone know if they have been straightened out yet ? -Sporty This ad is not endorsed by this member. | Junior STI Driver | www.jdmplace.com http://www.speedstarsauto.com/ www.jrponline.com are the only places i can think of off the top of my head right now. I believe most retailers in Canada are probably trying to sell them anywhere between $380 - $450. That was what I was getting quoted on for the Tanabe's when I was looking for them. You might be better off just buying the springs online instead from a U.S. source. I ended up ordering my TEIN springs from Gruppe-S and they were cheaper than any other place in Canada. Customs charged me $50 but the overall cost was still lower than any other local retailer I had checked with. |

| Junior STI Driver | snax--you mean lower cg or lower roll center? usually lowering mac strut cars RASIES the roll center, which generally is bad (i.e. increased tendency to roll), but of course lowering the car will lower the cg, which generally is good (less weight transfer in roll). do you have data or a source for data showing that lowering a USDM STi actually lowers the roll center? matt |

| Junior STI Driver | for AS class AX i use SSR GT7s, silver, OEM size as per the rules, w/ 225/45s. I have some pics somewhere, though probably action pics, pm if you want the links. I'm also gonna run STU while keeping the car AS legal, on 17 x 8.5 SSR comps, anthracite--tire size either 225/45 or 235/45. |
