| Junior STI Driver | After getting a TBE finally installed, my next goal is to make my car more competent in the handling department. I am getting more and more into AutoXing, but my car IS still a daily driver. Alas, I can't go insane with the setup. I'm at a crossroads now on whether to install springs or swaybars first. For springs, I was thinking of going with the Prodrives and Sways, Whiteline 24-26mm fronts and 24 adjustable rears. What do you guys think I should do first? I've been reading and reading about how aggressive sways (I guess 24-26 isn't TOO aggressive) and stock springs don't mix well. But how sways is pretty much the best bang-for-your buck upgrade you can get. Will the my sway setup clash with my stock springs? If the answer is yes, perhaps I should go with springs first then? What do you guys all think? This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

They'll produce a very mild drop but will have a higher spring rate than the Prodrives. As for using Whiteline sway bars with stock springs, I'll find out how that combo works very soon. I'll be installing my sway bars Saturday. |

The one thing you'll continue to have with the stock springs is perhaps more brake dive than you'd like, but these sway bars should provide quite an improvement in roll stiffness. Last edited by SWortham; 05-17-2007 at 02:14 PM. | |

For me, it was whenever I could find a deal on either, I like checking ebay and iwsti for deals. So I ended up doing jdm pinks first and COBB sways are on the way. |

The ride has been fine. I also have a set of RCE T2's on the way. Subaru of Gwinnett is also a good source for the Whiteline bars. That's where I ordered mine. This ad is not endorsed by this member.
