IWSTI Addict since: Jul 2006 Trader Rating: (7) | I installed a Whiteline Sport ALK a couple weeks ago ago and since then, I have been hearing thunking/thudding noises coming from the front end when I drive over uneven pavement or when I approach speed bumps. The noises are coming from the ALK/lower chasis area. Is it normal to get this type of noise or did I install the ALK incorrectly? This ad is not endorsed by this member. IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2005 Trader Rating: (9) | Same here absolutely silent...although my struts make noises when they hit the bumpstops... nothing some RCE T2's in the next week or so will fix though! Again, just get down there and torque those bolts down to spec...also, be sure to put a good amount of grease on them to help keep them silent. ![]() Kind Regards, Ryan |

IWSTI Addict since: Jul 2006 Trader Rating: (7) | It turns out that the person that helped me install it flipped the ALK when installing it. The bottom side was facing up and the top side was facing down. I reinstalled everything and there is no more tapping/thunking noises anymore. |
