No, as far as I know tri-link indicates the 2 lateral links and single trailing arm. A multilink is different...if you have ever seen the rear suspension on an Evo THAT is multilink. It looks like this:



It uses a rear shock, not a strut. Notice how the bottom mounting point on the shock looks like a 2-pronged fork, rather than the MacPherson strut on the STi, which mounts directly to the hub knuckle.

I made my conclusion from Miliken as well that is why I thought it was multilink but BoosJunkie is right with the multilink. Actually, thinking about it some more, the rear geometry in the STi would actually hold a lot more than the front if we talk in compliance because those two lateral links would hold that upright pretty good compared to the front.
