What about Whiteline Springs? They should be on there. I am loving my set!

Nice write up! Very well explained!

Ohlins Flags: all aluminum, all components are clear annodized, threaded strut body, threaded lower flange: offers bump/droop travel adjustment independent of ride height, double-adjustable external reseviour shocks: independent bump and rebound adjustment, high speed compression dampening is fixed, low speed is adjusted, comes with ~440/330 8 inch springs. Appears to work with rates up to 600/500 (what I have and the front rebound is on max, though it feels really good.) Compared to the ZZYZX, I would say they have less droop travel but better high speed compression dampening. ZZYZX may be a better AutoX coilover, but I believe the Flags would do better on the big track and on the street.

^ Thanks! Added info for them

I'm thinking of including links to pictures and threads dedicated to each coilover as well, but pretty much all of them will be so positive that it probably wouldn't add anything to the discussion.

What about adding info about the 6gun and whiteline balljoint bits? Other than that great informative and helpful guide!

Hey great thread, I was wondering what other suspension components can be changed to make handling better. Not only suspension components but anything that can make the car handle better. The list already compiled is great, and I want to add a few more, but hoping people can chime in...

Strut Bars
Springs
Front and rear Swaybars
Front and rear endlinks/ swaybar heavy duty mounts
Tophats
Camber Plates
Struts
Coilovers
Chassis Braces:
X-Brace
Fender Braces
H Brace
Subframe Brace
V Brace
(Any other braces?)
Anti-Lift Kits
Transmission mounts
Pitch Mounts
Engine mounts
Steering rack bushing
Lateral Links
Trailing Arms (not sure if it's the same as control arms)
Control Arms
Rear subframe/diff carrier bushings/differential bushing
alignment
Front lip such as JDM Sti or Cusco that creates downforce
Rear wing
Rear diffuser
Roll cage
Sticky Tires
tire pressure
and the guy behind the wheel.

Are there any bushings or other mods I am missing? (I realize some of these mods might not help a lot but just want to be thorough and think of everything that can help in the suspension/handling department.

Also, if someone could help me out...I remember reading a thread about a guy who bought an STi and complained about how the car is so jerky and so unrefined. He mentioned the shift knob would be moving or something during idle and how after he installed many various mounts/bushings the car felt great. Does anyone remember that thread or know where it is? I thikn whatever he put on his car I want to add to my list. Thanks.

Excellent thread! Finally getting caught up on some of my IW reading...

I'd also be very interested in hearing about the various bushings available and how they affect the STi's handling characteristics.

Big thumbs up!!!
