Default Next chassis mods???

Hey all,

I have done a search to only find some answers...I want to improve the handling and increase the stiffness of my car. I am not sure of what to do next. There are so many bushings and bars I am not sure of the next few mods should be or what works. I want to keep the costs around $1000 and I will be performing the labor.

I currently have for suspension mods:

H&R lowering springs 1.3R, 1.4F
Cobb front and rear sway bars
Cobb front and rear endlinks
Cobb tranny mount

Things I am looking at:

Beatrush rear diff support bar
Front 4 point ladder brace
Front and rear strut tower braces
Crossmember bushings
Rear diff. bushings
Beatrush propeller shaft bushings
Front camber plates OR Group N tops?
Whiteline steering rack bushings
Any other suggestions...?

I want to get the best bang for my buck.

Joe

The bushings will give you best bang for the buck, since they are relatively inexpensive. If you want stiff, forget the strut tower braces and get a Carlabs X-brace for the rear and a RPM subframe brace for the front. Oh, and maybe some fender braces too.

depending on cost:
fender cowl braces
CarLabs X-Brace
RCE front camber plates (or buy my Cusco for $105 used )
RPM front subframe

Then get the cheap stuff like bushings etc

How about a roll cage? That will stiffen the car up very fast without all the other mods.

You can get a 6 point for under a thousand. You will be sure to notice the difference.

i agree w/ quicksilver. i also suggest an alk (i.e. from whiteline) and stiffer engine mounts (i.e. cusco or group-n). a front strut bar really isn't needed as you will see little performance gains.

camber plates in the front, group n mounts in the rear
xbrace
alk
subframe brace

i feel like the other stuff is just suspension bling for a street car
