Post Handling Change after FMIC install

Has anyone here noticed any changes in the way the car steers and handles after a fmic install ? I'm wondering what the weight difference between a stock bumper beam which is replaced by the aps dr525.The thing that I noticed is that going down a straight road it seems like the front end of the car is wandering a bit,I feel like i'm constantly making steering corrections. The car just does not feel as nimble in the front.
Thank You

If you increased the weight and mass in front by the weight of the FMIC , bumper, impact foam stuff, piping, etc.

When you get on the gas and speed up, load transfers to the back,(not all of it) but the mass is still there. so you have less load on the tires, pushing down. to move more mass.

I wouldn't think a FMIC would add that much weight (over all) but maybe.

if you corner while speeding up does the car feel more understeerish now then before?

If that's all the case. stiffen the rear sway bar a tad. (or soften the front, but i wouldn't if you aren't well over stock stiffness in front)

Aye, the polar moment of inertia might increase marginally for the car, but you shouldn't find yourself making constant steering corrections on a straight road. Your problem is something else; likely the alignment.
