I know it would probably ad quite a bit of weight, but can't you control the ride hight, stiffness/softness with air suspension? IF you can, that would be pretty cool to have it really soft for daily driving and then when you want to turn on the performance stiffen it right up and make it rock hard?? Just something that poped into my head when I pulled up to a jeep that had an air suspension conversion done! Now thinking about it maybe air suspension is more for SUV's and off road turcks.... Something like street driving was softer and close to stock height and the track setting was stiffer and lowered the car. It was suppossed to be a performance set up and I thought I had read a few good reviews about it on NASIOC somewhere. Try The Tire Rack also because I thought they carried it for a while. Here you go: http://www.praxissystems.com/# Click on "Product Features" and go to "Subaru Operating Modes." Last edited by 05cgm; 04-25-2007 at 09:24 PM. |

| Moderator | My major problem with air suspension on a sports/sporty car is that air suspensions are highly progressive. IMO thats a bad thing for predictability. |

| Professional STI Driver | Every review I read about the praxis system said it was good when it was set up well, but the problem with it was that you could only adjust the air side of it from inside the car, but you had to go outside to adjust damping and rebound. Also if you parked on hills it was constantly trying to level the car so it would pick a wheel up off the ground some times, even with the car off. This ad is not endorsed by this member.
