I thought I share some of example work we have been doing over the winter with this software:

We use MaxQData to collect various performance data, and we had some issues in adapting it to newer ODBII vehicles, specifically the Japanese cars. I think we finally worked out most if not all of the major problems. This past Sunday, we hooked it up to one of the Evo 8's that was running, and below is a sample:

I have not run the course, nor do I have the course map with me, so at this early analysis, I cannot tell where exactly the vehicle was, but still nice to look at IMHO

The data shows lateral and longitutal Gs, yaw rate, RPM, Speed (mph) and throttle position. This vehicle with custom JIC FLTA2-RS coilovers, Endless brake pads, Toyo RA-1s and turboback exhaust was able to pull 1.1 to 1.2 sustained lateral Gs (after normalizing the chart, below is raw data), ~0.80-0.85 G acceleration, and 1.4 to 1.5 G braking Eventually, the driver pulled something like a 54.1xx I believe on the fourth run, the below reading are from one of the slower runs with 55.2xx. General public was running high 50s to high 60s. I believe he got either 1st or 2nd place in ESP.

Amazing!
Can you put two or more sessions/runs in one file/graph(?) and compare?

If yes, I definitely want one

It'll be really nice to compare multiple runs over a week-end to see where you lost time, if you were consistent or not, etc....

That is actually the best part of this software. You can record as many data as you can (limited by memory) and lay all or select ones on top of one another and compare setups, driving style changes/techniques; and see what works best.

It also has a GPS and bluetooth option that would allow you to accurately plot the course and lay that on top of the data

And... you can also lay data from multiple drivers or cars and compare them as well. Now that would give away your secrets though...

LOL, we have been doing that for a while now. What is missing that I can actually share is the Pink setup recordings. I just need to schedule a time with couple of owners in our area and go do rides. I just could not find the time yet.

Other data we have, obviously, falls into intellectual property rights; and we don't publish it. But of course this type of data certainly helps us in the "know what they are talking about" category . Well at least that's our hope, I am sure there are several in this board that think we are all show no substance

It is quite alright ldivinag. Unfortunately we don't, the version of the software we had at the time, was not working right and did not record anything I would have loved to have the data however

well as soon as you do a pink with strut top mounts I would love seeing the delta that would be enough to push me over the edge of spending even more money than I initially had planned lol

Now, that is even more of a motivation, LOL.

The issue is finding a clean Pink car, jagcars' vehicle has several other mods but mostly on the engine I believe. I might ping one more person I know with Pinks, we'll see... We should be able to get that done towards the end of the month though.
