IWSTI Addict since: Mar 2005 Trader Rating: (4) | That is strange. I can adjust the PSS-9 to be at stock ride height (probably higher too), but even lowered I don't have any contact nor any concern of contact with rolloever. |

IWSTI Addict since: Mar 2008 Trader Rating: (0) | I just installed the PSS9's on my '05 wagon and I noted the following drop in wheel gap: Stock springs: F - 76mm gap R - 45mm gap Pro Drive springs: F - 38mm gap R - 25mm gap PSS9 F - 25mm gap - 51mm drop over stock. R - 38mm gap - 7mm drop over stock. Does this sound right? |

IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2006 Trader Rating: (23) | Don't measure wheel gap. This changes with tire wear and based on what kind of tires you are running at that time. Measure from the center of the wheel arch to the center of the wheel hub. Just looking at those numbers, you could lower the rear considerably and not run into clearance issues. |

![]() ![]() ![]() I guess I'll just have to raise the collars and consequently, the height of the vehicle. FYI: running factory spec tires and OEM BBS's. Will put in a call to Bilstein tomorrow to listen to their options. I ordered the coilovers from Tirerack and this was the part number: F4-GM5-A128-H1. I ordered the -H1's because the HO's (F4-GM5-A128-H0) state that "A spacer may be needed on the rear for clearance.". There was no mention of a spacer needed for H1. | Amateur STI Driver | I use a 3mm stainless steel wheel spacer on all 4 rims. I too ran into the tight clearance as you have. The cheapest, and best option is to have your local machine shop make you custom size spacer. I don't know if there is some spacer you can buy for your needs. I run two set of 245x 40 x17 on 8,5 rim and other on the oem bbs rims. The tire is widener then 245 because they are R compounds. |
