| Amateur STI Driver | Hi, I need help picking a suspension setup for my STI, its an 05 and I will be daily driving it as well as doing auto X or tracking it once and awhile for fun. Here's what i'm thinking, tell me what you think of these or if you have any opinions. KW Coilovers- http://z1auto.com/prodmore.asp?model...ng&prodid=1949 COBB Stage 2 Suspension Package- http://www.cobbtuning.com/products/?id=2277 STi Adjustable Strut/Spring Suspension Kit- http://www.hotsubarus.com/index.asp?...PROD&ProdID=29 Bilstein PSS9 Coilovers http://z1auto.com/prodmore.asp?model...ng&prodid=2049 I've also considered Cusco and Tein, Tein I'm not so interested in, Cusco maybe but I belief there are better choices out there. Maybe add some Ohlins fixed perch struts for an AWESOME ride and AWESOME damp(en)ing if you have extra money to throw at it. | |

| Amateur STI Driver | I dont want ohlins, I had Vishnu coil overs which are basically ohlins but more awesome on my evo8 MR which I sold for the STI, so I want something new. I'm basically now debating the KW or the pinks. The STI coilovers are expensive and not worth it if I think about it, Bilstein PSS9 Coilovers sound good but I dont have much to back those up as in reviews. Cobb is also a good choice imo but ppl have loved the pinks so I'm leaning towards those spring wise. |

I know you mentioned occasional autox and tracking... so thats cool... however do you demand having the function of a coilover, etc etc. I would say whiteline swaybars (27/24 or 24/24) with a camber plate (pde v2 or RCE is my choice), then springs (dont have much personal experience there, but I did like my RCE springs). ^ That setup would be pretty fast and good for autox/tracking... as it goes for coilovers... things get pricey quick, my first choice is the KW v3 (in the form of the RCE Tarmac 2 coilover ) then ZZYZX would be my next choice, but thats big time $$$... and no doubt the Ohlins offerings are freakin nice too This ad is not endorsed by this member.
