IWSTI Addict since: Mar 2004 Trader Rating: (0) | for a short ride (very very short), it wont hurt it, but if you drive lets say... 100mi on it, you might start to damage the DCCD, since it will be constantly adjusting power to the front wheels. The reason it does this is that because the donut is smaller, the wheelspeed for that tire is higher. Therefore, the car thinks your left-rear wheel never has traction, which makes the DCCD system compensate. Better get it fixed ASAP! |

IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2003 Trader Rating: (0) | Not recommended to mix brands. Also if there is more than ¼ of an inch in rolling diameter between the front and rear you will start to do damage to the drive train. |

IWSTI Addict since: Mar 2004 Trader Rating: (0) | What if you have the DCCD set manually so the computer isn't balancing between the front & rear? Alternately if DCCD was set to auto & you weren't giving it much gas would there still be a risk of damage? |
