Question bended Endlinks after cobb sport srpings install ? (with pics)

I notice something strange with my swaybars after installing cobb sport springs on my 2007 STI, it seems that my endlinks have an angle and that they are making contact with some control arms (im not really sure if that is the name) does this look normal to you? if not how can i fix this? i was thinking of upgrading my rear swaybar, endlinks + anti-lift kit

if you do have this same setup please post some pics.

This has happened to several people. You are going to want to have your lateral links checked out. This would be a good time to upgrade to kartboy rear endlinks (the fronts usually dont have problems). Dealers have been known to deny warranty coverage for enlinks when all that was changed was springs. There is even one guy that got coverage denied when he had never touched the suspension. I wish you the best, and I hope that it works out for you. Try to get your dealer to cover it, but dont be surprised if they pitch a fit. KB endlinks are $100 shipped from www.turninconcepts.com.

Edit: on second thought, your lateral links dont look too badly damaged from the pics, but you will want to avoid driving until you get that fixed otherwise you will end up needing net lat links.

I also forgot to mention that your sway bar is gonna be damaged too, I would recommend a 24mm adjustable whiteline. Also from www.turninconcepts.com, for $165 shipped.

This happened to me after my RCE spring install. You can blame it on the install itself...when you removed the struts out of the car the arms dropped ALL the way down...after putting the new spring set-up in and bringing the car back down...the bar flipped. Kartboy endlinks will solve that problem.

or if you hurry you can email them and ask about their deal called mike_in_tn. It was a custom package put together for a WL 27mm f, WL 24mm r, and KB rear endlinks for $450 shipped. Pretty good deal IMO...

I picked up my Whiteline bars from Gruppe-S a couple weeks ago. 27-29FSB and 24RSB for 319 shipped. Check with Gruppe-S.

Im not going to try to tell you how to do your mods, but I wouldnt have gone with the cobb endlinks. There are several accounts of them making lots of noise within a year. In the year that I have been coming here, it seems there is nothing better than the WL+KB combo. Ill have impressions soon as I ordered my F&R bars and rear KB endlinks last night.

KB=Kartboy. Def +1 for the Kartboy stuff. I went from the Cobb links to the KB because of the noise. Great when new but when worn they make you car sound and feel like a clapped out s***box.
