Default lowering springs with factory struts

hi, i want to lower my car to improve hanfling.I don't have enough money to buy a complete suspension kit so i only want nex shorter springs on my sti 2006.I got choice beetween :

- Prodrive 2005 + STi Lowering Springs
- Tanabe 05+ STI/ 05+ WRX GF210 Lowering Spring
- Tein 2005 + STI Stech Lowering Springs

The Tein have not had very good reviews by most here on the forum. I personally have the Tanabes and like them alot. I cut my bumpstops when I put them as well. Most recommended springs typically will be the RCEs, Cobbs, Tanabes, Prodrives, and STI pinks.

Less is more, IMO. I'd recommend either with the mild drop of Prodrives or staying stock longer while you save up for an entire package.

Cross Tein off the list and add JDM Pinks, RCE, and maybe Swifts.

RCE Springs are probably the best springs available for the STI and they have a fairly affordable price.

Don't waste your time with lowering springs.

IMO, the real question is: what do you want to get out of your suspension?

Is it going to be a daily driver or do you want it to be the ultimate track day machine?

well I would say you need something for some better handling. Get some RCEs or STi Pinks for springs, either one will serve you well.

I personally would, and did, upgrade the sway bars first, the stock springs need improvement, but for basic improvements get the sways first if you havent already.
