Default about lowering

It has been about 2 months since I got my 07 sti,
and I know nothing about cars, just like to drive it.
and I really want to lower my car just little bit.
I heard that you can just change the springs,
somebody please help me how/where to find good springs
and how to install them or where. (near LA)

First: lowering is a question of suspension and belongs in that forum. I've moved it there for you.

Second: have you tried searching? Look around the site at people's cars. Find one you like the drop on and ask about it.

Also, I suggest driving or at least riding in a few different cars with different suspensions. Go to a local meet and ask for rides. Oh, and avoid tein s-techs they are not good for anything but show cars.
