After finding out that 129 was too much... what torque specs did you use?

Also which bump stops did you use?

9.6110 or 9.6111?

I used 9.6111, and I used torque spec: impact for a 5 sec burst (keep in mind I have a cheeseball impact wrench). Ill check it in a couple days, Im going to get an alignment shortly though.

Anyway, glad to hear the modification worked for you. It's definately a nice feeling to have linear suspension travel! Keep us updated on whether you ever feel the car abruptly bottom out, because shortened bump stops will do that more quickly. I doubt it'll be a problem (it's nothing I ever notice) but it's something to look out for. The dynamics of your car should be pretty different- a little softer overall, but with less understeer and more predictability. After you've driven around a bit, I'd love to hear a full review (in the original bump stop thread so all the info is in one place, please).

The remainder of the STI's ride quality can be fixed with dampers with less high-speed damping (but preferably with more low speed) so all the bumps in the road get absorbed rather than resisted.

Anyway, glad you like everything! I just noticed the new title to the thread- awesome, you're welcome! Ha!
The only thing Ive noticed is slightly more body roll, but the $1200 in paintball gear Ive sold in the last week is screaming TiC's name. WL bars will be coming shortly!

Mods feel free to close this. Any more updates will happen in the shortened bumpstop thread. HERE

Aye, with your spring rate cut in half, those sway bars are going to be a big help in cutting down on your new body roll. But when it's all said and done, you'll have a much better riding and cornering car. I cut my bump stops at the same time I went from a 32mm Strano front sway to the Whiteline 27mm, so I never really got the "stock with short bump stops" experience.

Did you re-lube your struts, too? That cut out some noise for me.

There should be some rule against editing your thread while I am trying to reply to it!

Yes, I relubed all 4 generously. I made sure the seals were packed tight as well.
