IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2005 Trader Rating: (7) | My car is riding on Swifts and stock struts right now. I daily drive it to work here in PA and it rides pretty rough (I also have my WL bars set at 29/22--maybe I should change that to 27/24 for less bump up front). I have RCE springs sitting in my room in the box. Should I swap them out or just wait to put the RCEs on the Ohlins I plan to buy later this year? or...should I just sell them and get RCE T2's (the reviews of them riding better than stock make me really question paying more for a strut setup) I plan on doing some HPDE's this summer and autox, but this is also my winter beater too. I am currently riding on RCEs myself and was planning to upgrade to Ohlins as well, but I can't justify spending that amount when the T2s have been getting GREAT reviews and have much more room to play with compared to RCE/Ohlins combo. The choice is yours, but I figure:Sell the RCE springs for some $$$ and buy a set of T2s in your choice of spring rates...call it good! In the end you'll be paying less than an Ohlins set-up. ![]() I will be doing this later... Regards, Ryan |

Yes, the T2's ride very nicely for coilovers, but they are simply not going to be as comfortable as Ohlins with RCE springs. If you are willing to sacrifice a little bit of comfort for the adjustability and superior handling of the T2's, it's certainly worth doing. This ad is not endorsed by this member.
