same thing happened to me a few months ago when i only had 4500 miles on the car. The insurance adjuster said it would take one week and 4,500 in damage but when the body shop looked at it they found alot more ended up being $11,000 in damage mostly suspenison. FOr body work they repainted my front bumper and replaced the driver side fender. I asked this same question you are and everyone told me as long as they replace every damaged part it will be fine and i got it back and it drives like new. It took awhile for them to get my parts because the car was so new and STI's arent the most common car But it took 6 weeks before i got it back
