IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2006 Trader Rating: (14) | My owner's manual states that it should be 99.4, but I measured about 100.3? I will remeasure it tomorrow as well as my brother's for comparission. He has a 06. Any thoughts? |

| Lurker | I can give you my before and after 07 sti specs: before: (from the factory) LF Camber -.1 RF Camber -.2 LF Caster 3.2 RF Caster 3.5 LF Toe .01 RF Toe .04 LR Camber -1.7 RR Camber -1.5 LR Toe .05 RR Toe -.02 The car had slight pulling and terrible directional stability. The front tires outside edges were feathering. The left front worse than the right front. After alignment: LF Camber -.5 RF Camber -.5 LF Caster 3.1 RF Caster 3.4 LF Toe -.02 RF Toe -.04 LR Camber -1.7 RR Camber -1.6 LR Toe 0.00 RR Toe 0.00 Also the car had 2 tires out of balance from the factory. The car no longer pulls and it's directional stability is improved. Handling is improved as well. But I think it could be better. According to the 06 specs, the caster is way off for an STI. But of course this is an 07. I don't understand why SOA would reduce caster on a car like the STI from MY06 to MY07. Would the ALK really add .5 to the Caster numbers? Even if it did, it'd be closer to 06, but still not there. What other ways are there to get more caster besides the ALK? |

| Junior STI Driver | I just did a proffessional alignment on the car after my camber plates and coilovers installation. Not sure if this will help anyone but I did find it interesting! What I did was go with the PDE camber plates and I am going to be using a setup for street with 0 toe, and then move the camber out for Auto-X. Here's what we ended up with: Ride Height: R 13.5" F 14.0" (measured center of wheel hub to edge of fender) Front: Street: Camber: L 1.96 R 1.96 Toe: L 0.00 R 0.01 Castor: L 4.47 R 4.83 (this was setup to compensate for the Crown in the roads) AutoX/Track: (changes made by moving the camber plates 3 drilled slots) Camber: L 2.69 R 2.71 Toe: L 0.35 R 0.35 This is toe out btw Castor: L 4.47 R 4.83 Rear: Camber: L 1.43 R 1.44 Toe L 0.00 R 0.00 Haven't really tested it out, since after it was done it started raining pretty hard, but the suspension are RCE T2's with Falken Azenis 615 245/45/17. Looks pretty awesome when the camber is slammed! |

camber plates like the PDE can be adjusted so as to increase caster as well, so you might want to check into those. The RCE's may be able to do the same, if my memory serves me it's by swapping the right and left sides... or uh.... someone else can chime in on that. | |
