Default Endlink question!!

Do I still need to change the endlinks even if I will not upgrade sway bars?

I will only change springs and strut mounts.

Should I change the rear endlinks or not??

Thanks.

Your fronts will definitely be fine.

We have seen broken rear endlinks and flipped swaybars even on the stock set-up, but those are very isolated incidents.

You will be fine.

Yeah i wouldn't worry about it. Worst case scenario they break and you get new end links anyways lol.

You will be fine. And if they do break, just get new ones.

Yeah...I would upgrade your endlink now. I am running the stock rear sway bay, RCE Springs, and Group-N Top hats...and my sway bar has flipped. Now I need to replace the rear endlinks. Might as well change them...Kartboy's are only $100 for the rear free shipping.

I wouldn't worry about the front ones. It's the rear ones that give people troubles.

For $100 for kartboy rear endlinks I would. The problem isnt necessarily the fact that the endlinks break, the problem is that they sometimes damage the lateral links when they flip.

Take a look at these poll results. 40% of the responders experienced a flipped rear bar. As others have commented, its not the damaged end links you need to worry about. Its the damage to the lateral link, which is very expensive to replace and will not be covered under warranty. There are some pics of damaged lat links in that thread.

I never had a problem with mine and always watched the rear bar when I was lowering it back on the ground. But since other people work on my car, (tire stores, dealership, etc) I don't like that sinking feeling wondering the bar is going to flip when the car comes down off the lift.

I've watched 2 cars do this in person. At first the techs wouldn't believe me that it could happen.
