^ Hrmmm... overall it just made the car a bit more loose (for an event before I got a real alignment it was at about just 0 and it was quite loose then).

I would say mid corner and exit were looser, transitions were looser too.

Thank you Homer. That was very helpful. I was under the impression that you could get more negative front camber from 04's than other years. Also, I'll be installing RCE springs, shouldn't that add some negative camber as well?

Lastly, could you elaborate on 'slotting the bottom hole 1-2mm' to gain another degree of neg. camber?

slotting the bottom hole is just simply slotting it to make it "wider". slot it 1-2 mm towards the outside of the car. this will allow you to pull the bottom of the hub more towards the outside, gaining negative camber.

so you basically increase the slack in the bolt hole by a bit, and when you put it back together, you make sure to pull the hub towards you to seat the bolt against the new slotted side. this doesnt need to be machined, a simple round file can do the job.

Would slotting be better than just the bolt?

i believe so. adjustment is more difficult because you dont have a smooth rotating motion to do it. but if you have a stock camber bolt in the other hole, then you eliminate that problem.

i believe slotting is better because it allows you to retain the beafy stock bolt vs a thin camber bolt. which means you can torque it more and it will be less likely to slip.
