Default BTD?: Coilover option

I've been searching but haven't had any luck on really hammering down the reliability of coilover options. I hear a lot of people say that KW has a good reputation for building a coilover that doesn''t really need a rebuild very often. I can't search it though because KW is too small of a word to search.

So on to my needs, and then what you all think is a good option from experience.

1) My number one priority is a coilover that is reliable and doesn't need to rebuilt every other year. Something reliable in the sense that they would last as long as a stock shock.

2) Honestly, I may track my car once a year and am not looking for a hardcore spring/shock rate that is going to kick my butt. With that said though, I don't really mind a somewhat stiff ride as it a trade off that is necessary.

3) I'm not going back to a simple aftermarket spring on shock combo again. I'm planning on keeping my suspension on my car for a while (hence the reliability angle) and don't want to deal with sag like I used to (Im 225pds) that I can dial out if I get in the future.

I'm obviously looking at the KW v3 and maybe Cusco (do they have a long rebuild interval?). What do you all think? Any other suggestions for my requirements above?

Thanks in advance for any help,
Chris

KW has ~ a 3 year heavy use rebuild intervals

Cusco is as short as 6 months.

KW V3s sound like the ticket once you do a little research on how to setup a dual adjustable suspension.

Cusco is out of the question as they'll be too stiff and need rebuilds.

i'd look into the RCE Threaded Coilovers (rebadged V3s with different springs).

plus with KW you can use stock top hats.
