Default will an '06 STi Front Control arm fit an '05 STi?

I know... n00b question. I've searched here but no one has asked...

because the one on my '05 is borked and I've found an '06 one on eBay... it looks like they are the same. I've gotten some feedback on another forum stating this...

Have not laid one side to side....but initial impressions are the '06 is the same as the '05.

Your best bet would be to call the dealership and have them compare part numbers between model years.

they will be the same shape, but didn't subaru switch to steel control arms? or is that only on the 07 sti's?
