Default Whiteline ALK: Comfort or Standard???

I tried searching but didn't find what I was looking for:

I thought I was done with my suspension mods but I keep reading about these ALK's and it makes me want to get one. Has anyone gone from the Standard to the Comfort or vice versa? Is there a noticeable performance drop with the Comfort?

Also, since I will have to get an alignment are there any other minor mods that I should do at the same time?

I have the Sport and it feels great. Not much added NVH and the car powers out of corners much more smoothly now. If I were you I would wait another month or 2 until Whiteline's ball joint extenders come out and do both at once, then get an alignment. Camber plates are also a great mod if you are looking to get more out of your suspension.

You have the Whiteline Sport? Is that the same as the Race version?

What do the ball joint extenders do?

There are 3 different ones: Comfort, Sport, and Race. I have the sport but have not yet installed it. I have heard nothing but good things about the kit.

Oh OK. On the RCE site, they don't list it as Sport.
So does anyone know if the performance gain from the Sports outweigh the added NVH?

I believe there's an ALK FAQ TLA (three letter acronym) over on that other board.

i'm not sure if i have the sport or race version (definately not the comfort version, as the vendor told me they are not worth the effort)

after having them installed, i did not notice any more NVH at all.

I remember when I bought the Whiteline Steering rack bushings, everyone said there was increased NVH but I didn't notice anything. Maybe I should just get the Race version ALK?

TIC told me to go with street (the middle one) but now I'm tempted to go with race...

What other brands are out there besides GT Spec (doesn't have offset bushing like the Whiteline) and Perrin (I generally stay away from Perrin based on people who have told me about their bad experiences, but I'm open).
