How much "daily driver comfort" is lost when using the linear spring in the rear vs. a progressive one? Also, how about a pillow ball vs. group N in the back? I most likely will be buying Tarmacs or V3s but I don't know which one yet.

ooh...no mention of Tein's yet.

I wonder if I got the right coilover set.

I have flex's, and I'm happy with them.

I think the reason they havn't been mentioned is because the Flex's are considered by a lot of people to be harsh on the road. On the track i'm sure they preform pretty well though. If you're happy with them though, that's all that matters.

My Flex's work very well for street and track use. Sometimes I wonder if JIC would have been a better choice, but oh well.

I have Flexes and a while back I talked to Luke Russel (One Lap of America & his STi fame) about his Flexes. I figured he had a custom setup for his Flexes and to my surprise they where off the shelf ones.

He had custom JIC for the 1st one (2 years ago) & Off the Shelf Tein Flexes for the second one (last year). He said the Flexes so outperformed the custom JIC ones by far and look at where he placed last year.

I'd say be happy with your Flexes I have also heard horror stories about JIC customer support and that the coilovers don;t last long at all before needing rebuilt.

Yea, my old JIC's on my 2.5RS-T had a problem too. The front passanger side adjustment knob got stuck on full stiff. Wasn't a big deal to me cause I use full stiff all the time, but I still didn't like the fact that it was stuck.

I have had my Teins for about 9 months now and I have had 0 problems.
