Something you might want to consider is Prodrive DOES NOT make an STi specific muffler. They ONLY support the WRX. Recent information indicates STi specific parts by summer 07 but who really knows with Prodrive.

Back to the muffler...it will fit but the sound has been reported as "strange" in several cases. I have not had first hand experience with this so take that as you will.

Get a downpipe and leave the stock cat back in place so you can flash stage 2 with the AP v.2. You arent leaving much power on the table with that if any at all. Also swap that 24mm front bar for the 27mm-better match for the car. The car will handle better with bigger bars front and rear, but with matched bars like that it will still understeer pretty bad. Go with the kartboy endlinks. And instead of the bodacious bushing bundle(shifter set) get the holy shift kit, it has a few more bushings in it. Also, group N or cusco engine and tranny mounts.

Ah ok, well then disregard that, dont get just an axle back get a whole cat back, if you want something quiet get a greddy evo2 or one of the maddad exhausts. As for AP1 or AP2, I just got an AP1 for my 06 simply because it was dirt cheap and for what im going to do to my car, its fine for me. I will wait and see what the AP2 will be able to do and then may get one in a year or so, if it will do speed density, that will probably seal the deal, but as of right now the other stuff, I could care less about. The rest of the stuff I said though, I stand behind.

I think that I would get the Cusco Motor and Tranny mounts instead of the GRP N's with pitch stop.

I have read numerous people say that the pitch mount doesn't do much. That $50 would be better spent on the cusco mounts, IMO.

Otherwise that list looks good. You can prolly find an AP for less than 500. I just bought one for 400 shipped.

Just installed it today and I am about to go for my first drive right now!

Yea skip the group n's and go straight to the cusco's. Get the kartboy tranny bushing also that TIC.com sells. I got my V1 AP for 250, you just gotta watch the classified's. 400 or so is about standard.

Feedback,

Front End links and rear sway bar mounts aren't needed. Where are the springs and camber plates? Also consider the fender cowl braces.

i've heard that theres some modding to be done with the cusco mount and I'm trying to stay away from that. Also I'm trying to keep the NVH down some since it is my DD along with track time. Just wanna make sure that my 75-80 miles i put on a day is a comfortable ride.

and springs and plates are later to come...

The only modding that I know of with the cusco mounts is if you have the ****ty 06 mounts to start with. The only modding I know of is you need a plate off the mounts to bolt onto the cusco's and the ****ty 06 mounts dont have this plate so you gotta go buy 05 mounts from the dealer to get the plate. Am I completely wrong on this?

I second getting fender/cowl braces. Really good bang for the buck. I have TIC braces and I love them.
