I recently received my whiteline sways. After reading this thread I was a bit worried so I emailed Tom from kartboy. He replied asking for my address. I just installed my 27-29 whiteline sway this last weekend with kartboy front and rear end links. My links look just like the pics shown. Today in my mail was the set of necessary spacers from Tom free of charge. When I install the spacers I will take a picture. (however the tonight's priority is Christmas shopping)

i have been confused for a while about this question because everyone i asked seems to have a different answer.

the question is which hole setting on the adjustable sway bars is more aggressive and which one is less aggressive?

My understanding is the front hole is aggressive (29mm) and the rear hole is less aggressive (27mm) on the 27/29mm bar.

Front=front of car
rear=rear of car

Hi Guys. sorry i've been swamped in the shop. everyone wants their parts by X mas...

I have the neighbor CNC shop knocking out a ton of the spacers. its looks like the problem is with the angle of the dangle on the WL bars. i havent had a customer with the Cusco or other bars have this problem. i'll start shipping all the front endlinks with the spacers. if you need to use them great. if not you will have 4 cool spacers you can do whatever you like with

i should have them here by the end of next week hopefully.

Hey guys,

as promised here are the before and after shots of adding the kartboy endlink spacers.

First the spacers:

Now the before shots:

Next the after shots:

The install was a cinch. The spacers seem to be the perfect size, there is thread or two sticking out past the nut. I can't give any driving impressions; this is the shot out my garage, and I don't have a shovel:

Thanks Tom for the great customer service. Other shops might have charged me for these. Instead you sent them quickly for free. I highly recommend Kartboy for their service.

the above spacers were purchased from mcmaster.com the ones i'm making are close to that but made out of aluminum.

one note. you want to move the washer on the other side of the spacer. the washers should be on each side of the black urethane part. that will keep it captured.

I hate quoting pictures. I'm on dial up and the band width is a killer. That said, I have to offer an opinion.

The rod end is mounted in single shear and needs a back up washer to be safe. The mounting nut needs a washer to be properly torqued. Is the nut a a lock nut? The first few threads on any bolt are undersize due to the lead. A lock nut needs a few threads to be effective.

The bolt is too short. Standard bolts have big jumps in length when they are that long.

Just a dumb engineer...

Yes the washer needs to be on the other side. they are mechanical lock nuts not a nyloc they cost more but i feel they are worth it. if there is a thread or more showing it should be good to go.
