Well, you defenately got me on hold for these...looking forward to the info.

Oh, and I totally forgot to talk about end links. I think it is pretty ridiculous how much end links are and I think somebody needs to offer some for like $50-70. I think it would be awesome if you offered some in addition to the bars. The two bearings are like $5 each (exaguration I think). Then drop another $5 for the stock to machine 2 end links (probably an exaguration too. My friend payed $26 for 4ft of 0.5''x4'' 6061 stock at a metal market place the other day to machine some parts). Mark it up by like 500% and you will get about $75.

Anyhow, keep us posted man. You got me glued to this thread.

Nice I grew up living next door to Andy Lally My older brother and him used to race RC cars on a dirt track on our backyard. It's funny looking back and seeing how things turned out.

Ok back on topic
Cant wait to see RCE next great product come to life.

Myles,

Bars should be the color of your first set of springs. Then you can change to another color later!

V interested also, getting tired of the lack of options on bars, but for whatever reason endlinks are falling out of every shop window.

Myles, i say black or a dark gunmetal color.

which ever you choose, ill buy a set

Wow, i just read through the whole thread.....

Do we have any ideas on cost yet? For bars or endlinks?
Any ideas on colors?
What about the endlinks and bushings that everyones hyped up about?
Are they going to require as much greasing as some people were mentioning about the whiteline bars?

I have never owned bars or springs in the past, but have recently been getting geared up to do both, as well as endlinks and camber plates.....

I'm going to be on hold (especially after PMing Boostjunkie) to see what these bars have?
Also, like Cobb, are these bars tailored to any specific springs you guys offer?
I was going to most likely order the yellow springs, 24mm whiteline bars, and kartboy endlinks, but im second guessing that and considering all RCE products, possibly camber plates too....

I know very little about suspension stuff but have been doin research here and there.... Im pretty excited and can hopefully talk more one on one with someone at RCE

Ok so this is NOT the color of the production bars. This is the color that 2 of our beta testers requested. It is Pescarolo Green as in 24 hrs LeMans color from 2006 !! Anyway, we made some changes to the front bar for a conventional fitment so the % over stock are as follows:

On the front bar…inner would be 408% over, outer would be 275% over.

On the rear bar…inner would be 400% over, outer would be 270% over.

On the rear the middle hole would be 330% over.

Final production bars will be black.

First batch will have poly bushings as finding rubber that will support and work with a 25.5 mm bar has been almost impossible from a function stand point. 22mm is easy, but 25.5 becomes much harder. We havent given up, just communicating.

Myles

Yes we will do a "intro buy" yes.....of course. But the first batch we want to be intimately involved with each buyer in terms of feedback and opinions. I dont say that to discount the work of the beta testers, but we want to log the feedback from each buyer in the first batch. We also want to know what end links are being used etc. At this time we are suggesting KARTBOY as they seem to be the most consistent and we sell those alot already.

This new approach to introducing new products comes from laying in bed at night and thinking of ways to involve the enthusiast MORE to ensure product satisfaction. I know that sounds like a sound bite but its real and its the attitude I have had all along, but want to implement MORE moving forward.

Myles

do you have a closer pic of the mount points? Specifically how high the "anti-walking" bumps are?
