They were here when we moved into the shop. You guys are going to love this - it's from the lumber liquidators a few buildings down. The guy who was in here put so much thought and effort into this that he was kind enough to lay it right on top of the existing carpet.

Oh, and it started raining here so I haven't had a chance to really run these bars out yet.

As for the install - Tony did front on stiff and rear on soft. This most closely matches the setup we had on it before. Tony had the idea that it would be good to start with similar settings to get a feel for how the car was compared to how it now is. The car was on Whiteline 27mm Front set to stiff and 24mm Rear set to the middle with stock front endlinks and KB rears.

I thought the bars were gonna be chromoly. My rusting WL's need to come off and since the softest setting is tad over 25mm, I was all about them. Can they be ordered in chromoly rather than black PC.

Cool Re: Gauging Interest,...sway Bars For Sti...( UPDATE ON PAGE 4)

Ok I finally unpacked my computer from the move...and have impressions on the pre-prodution version of these bars!!!

They are awesome!! I have t2's 500/500 and set the bars on full stiff in front and middle for the rear, and i am blown away by how much the car is transformed. For lack of a better word the set up is SOLID. Very forgiving on back road testing; the rear feels much more steerable yet that feeling of lift off oversteer is replaced with VERY progressive break away. Keep in mind this is a limited back road 40-70 mph test so ultimate impressions will be left for the auto x course.

Side note: The ride feels even better that before with the stock sways...with t2's. I am ecstatic and once I put the 245 REO1rs on and align next week I will give even more impressions of these AWESOME sways!!

BTW pics soon as mine are nuclear green

They are chromoly, but we cant leave them uncoated or they do develope rust spots. In the next batch I could request that, but when it rust you wont be happy......and we dont want that.

making the stickers optional might actually be a pretty good idea.

Can't wait to hear your reviews/feedback. What spring/strut/co is on the car that your testing with?

From post 223:

04 STi
All the TiC stuff
Ohlins Sportlines (with the normal 392/280 springs)
Shod in 235/45 17 Falken 512s. We'll throw stickier rubber on with the higher rates, but given that I'm familiar with these tires already this will be a good apples to apples test.

Im in the market for swaybars. I have stance coilovers with 8k/6k spring rate. What swaybars are best for track setup with my coilovers? WL, cusco, swift?

Yeah I did. Im just looking at what people have experience on. The Racecomp's look like they have alot of input placed into the design. Im interested in the WL because many people have experience with it. Well what size would be best for track days?
