| Authorized Vendor Car: 2008 Pinarello FP5 Fav Mod: New Underwear after a 147mph slide into turn 17 at Sebring in the rain....still got 3rd.. Location: Columbia, Maryland Posts: 3,410
IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2005 Trader Rating: (10) | Well its because I chose the not so popular side of the automotive aftermarket business and have always been a "handling guy" and almost never a power guy. I grew up putting " Turn Six sways on my mom's 280Z before I could drive and then would go out on back roads and my mom would tell me how the car felt and I would adjust the bars. My Dad had a 450SEL 6.9 and would take sweepers FAST and talk about hand position and looking where you want to go and so my environment was very "car-ee" at a early age without it being talked about alot. My GTI had suspension and every car since. So to just have some simple bars in our line up makes me very happy. Man must be that time of the month for me....I am gettin' all choked up again. I hope the guys who get them like them and are happy too. I will be looking for feedback from this first batch of 25. Working on basic instructions NOW. Myles This ad is not endorsed by this member. IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2005 Trader Rating: (6) | Hey Myles, I provided Andrew my CC info and got on the list a number of weeks back. Could you check to see if I'm on the list for the first 25 batch for David Chung? Thanks! |

| Platinum Member | Myles, what would be the overall advantages of your bars over something like what I have besides bar strength (chrome moly versus steel)? I have Worx Tuning bars which are 22mm front and rear with extended mounts in the rear. Here are some pictures of my bars: ![]() Rear installed: ![]() Since I installed the bars, I have upgraded my endlinks to Kartboy solid endlinks. I plan on buying either the Tarmac 2s or TiC SST coilovers with front camber plates and group-n hats in the back. I drive my car hard on the street and love to get in the twisties. I want something more comfortable than what I have now that will perform when I push it. I have stock struts with progressive lowering springs and my struts are starting to let go. Let me know what you think and if you would rather discuss this on the phone, just PM me and we'll do it. Thanks in advance for your time and your contributions to the Subaru (and IWSTI) community. |

IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2005 Trader Rating: (10) | Well I think a 22 mm bar is just simply less aggressive where as ours starts at 25.5 and goes up to 28.4mm in the firm adjustment. I think 22mm bars are great if a person wants that size bar. We chose the in between size so that people could save some weight on the really big bars. Myles |

![]() Our testers from RCE arrived today. They are going on a car as soon as a new slave cylinder goes into a customer's first gen RX-7. I will then be taking that car for the weekend and running it through it's paces. We will initially be setting them on full soft (the 25.5mm setting). As for the car they are going on here's the details: 04 STi All the TiC stuff Ohlins Sportlines (with the normal 392/280 springs) Shod in 235/45 17 Falken 512s. We'll throw stickier rubber on with the higher rates, but given that I'm familiar with these tires already this will be a good apples to apples test. Pics coming in a few. | |
